I'm a first year student at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. I'm originally from Chicago and earned my bachelors degree in Environmental Biology at Michigan State. I am now studying long-term global climate change in the Monterey Bay area by conducting several experiments on sediment cores recovered from the bottom of the ocean. Using geological and chemical oceanography I hope to gain an understanding of how the current global climate change compares to past climate cycles.
